I love getting orders for newborn items that I don’t already have in my shop! It gives me the opportunity to add that item to my ever-growing listings. Plus I get to try out a new pattern or two! Here is the latest order that I have had.
These boots are by far the cutest Cow girl boots that I have seen! The are a FREE pattern from Hodgepodge Crochet too! She is such an awesome crafter! Here is the link to Ravelry to get the pattern for yourself! These were so fun to work up! I especially love the heel that they have!
The next pair of boots are adorable! The green combo that was in the pattern was loved so much that they had to have a pair just like them! These were a delight to work up! This is also a FREE pattern from Croby Patterns. Her details are magnificent in her tutorial!
These little slippers have been going around and around on the internet. I have wanted to try them out for a while. I luckily was able to do them earlier than I thought! The ribbon flowers aren’t for everyone! It took some time to make them look good for me, I am a perfectionist with my work! I could sit down and make these little booties all day long! They look like just plain and simple little Mary Jane slippers until you add the flower embroidery! For these beauties I used a FREE Mary Jane pattern found on Ravelryhere and then I free-handed the flowers following this picture from Pinterest.
I am going to be honest and say this……I have neglected this page too much. I need to set a goal to post at least one thing a week, if not more. Whether it be crochet related or not. I am a huge crafter of many talents but my main talent lies with crochet and clay work.
I would love to get into refinishing furniture to go into my home but I don’t have all of the necessary tools for that trade.
I love to paint, crochet, and turn useless items into something spectacular and useful.
So my goal is to post once a week at least of the things I am doing in detail. 🙂
Lets see how much interaction I have here with a question. I am going to be getting ready this month for some craft shows that are coming up but I need inventory. So what are some things that are a must have at a craft show for a crochet business? Please post your comments and let me know what you think!
We’ve got almost THIRTY patterns collected here for you this week! Most of them are BRAND NEW, with a few updated favorites included. A couple of months ago, several of the Mad Mad Makers decided it would be awesomely fun … Continue reading →
I have been so super busy! I have been trying to get my 3 year old ready for preschool, my 6 year old ready for 2nd grade, and apparently this month is the hot month for me to make cakes! … Continue reading →
I just have to say that this bag is the most beautiful thing ever! The colors are the best color combo that I have seen in a while! This pattern works up fast and you can customize the colors any way that you want. There are also different variations for a flap and the handles to be stuffed or you can crochet around a cord!
I loved this bag so much that I am making myself one! I have already purchased the yarn and the lining for it!
Here is the picture of my work in progress. This was taken just after a few squares had been made!
This picture was taken just after I had sewn all the squares together! It is already looking fabulous!
And here is the finished Product! I absolutely love the way that it turned out! It looked even better in person! If you would like to purchase a purse like this one feel free to email me and we can discuss any details and any changes that you would like to have!
Hello everyone! It’s been a long day! Went to a birthday party at a bowling alley for a 3-year-old. It was definitely different. I personally would never have my children’s birthday party there unless they were much older and actually knew what bowling was and enjoyed it! Then when I came home my long-lost cousin who also loves to craft as much as I do came over and we played with our clay! I enjoy making the handles on crochet hooks more ergonomically and fashionable! I recently bought some itty bitty clay canes from Etsy and I absolutely LOVED working with them! I made 2 crochet hook handles that looked like flowers. The work that they put into one cane is amazing! I didn’t take any pictures because the hubby was at a meeting and we were here with my 3 kids and her one! It was a little over whelming with all the little ones trying to play in the clay also! I am hoping to be able to take some pictures of them tomorrow, if the kids allow me to, and post them for sale! 🙂
I never thought that I would enjoy blogging. But now that I have I really think that I like it. I can come on here and voice my opinion and express some things to the internet world and it just seems to lift some things off my chest. Maybe because I can share my love of clay, crochet, photography, and what ever else I decide to do with others who enjoy my work! I just wished that my kiddies would allow me to do this before their bed time that way I don’t have to stay up as late to post! Oh well, I guess that is the life of a small business owner with 3 small children. The good thing is that I do stay at home with them and work out of my home. No outside job. I get to enjoy my babies while they are young and I also get to craft every minute of the day that they will allow!
Well it’s late and I need to get up early to tackle my never ending pile of laundry. I loathe laundry! I wish it would do it itself. Someone has to do it. No better person than me since I am home all day!
Good night everyone! Have a good Monday! Happy Blogging.
I have recently fallen in love with clay! I have even made some small charms for necklaces that I thought I would never do because of the tedious small detail work that goes into them. But I fell in love with everything that I have tried lately that deals with clay! Here is what I have been up…..
